This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to make the app work for you.

Information you give us directly

• Account info — your name and email, when you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple. We never see your password; those providers handle authentication.
• Preferences — your home country, preferred currency, language, temperature unit, distance unit, and saved locations. Stored so we can personalize your experience.
• Messages you send us — anything you write in the in-app "Contact Us" form.

Information we collect automatically

• Approximate and precise location — only when you grant permission. Used to find nearby restaurants, ATMs, attractions, restrooms, money exchange spots, coffee, and convenience stores. We do not record your location history; we only use your current location to answer your current request. You can also search a place manually without sharing live location.
• Camera images — only when you actively use the Smart Price Scanner or Smart Text Scanner. Images are sent to our backend for text/price recognition and translation, then discarded. We do not store your scanned images.
• App usage events — anonymized events such as which feature you opened and roughly how long a session lasted. Used to understand which features are useful and to fix bugs.
• Device info — your device model, OS version, and a session identifier that resets when you reinstall the app. Used for debugging and to comply with platform policies.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not access your contacts, microphone, calendar, or messages.
• We do not collect your real-time location in the background.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
